After your part is disassembled, we thoroughly clean the part removing all dirt, oil, grease, and grime in order to have a clean application of the powder coating. This process is done upon request

Preparations
After cleaning the part is ready for Pre-Baking. This process heats up the oils inside of the part and drives them out in a 440F oven for 40-120 minutes.

Masking is a tedious but required part of powder coating. Masking is also dependent on the part and it is the very last step before the part is powder coated.

Application
All parts are grounded and powder is applied in a dust-free and clean environment with proper airflow during coating. Compressed air at +38 degrees and contains less than 0.1-PPM oil with no particulate contaminants greater than 0.3 microns.

The powder is cured according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Job-specific product to be cured according to spec between 45-120 minutes at the manufacturer’s specified substrate core temperature.
